This plant is native to China, but is now widely cultivated throught the world. This flower is field grown and sundried. The Cup Characteristics are very floral with pungent notes and a long lingering finish.
Chinese herbal medicine has extensively used the Chrysanthemum in it's applications. There are reports of this flower being mentioned in 'Divine Husbandman's Classic of the Materia Medica" in China during AD I. The white Chrysanthemum is sometimes known as the sweet Chrysanthemum. Chinese herbalists claim that the Chrysanthemum can be used by the respiratory system to clear fever and headaches associated with colds and flu. They also claim it's positive use as a tonic for the eyes and to sooth redness and eases tension.
