Roasted Mate Chai  with  French Chocolate 2 oz
WHAT A CUP! A Chai that has a full flavored mocha character and light spicy notes. The finish is lingering with hints of French Chocolate. Rich in Caffeine and matteine. 4 oz (makes approx. 40-50 cups loose Tea.

HOW TO PREPARE CHAI: Begin by turning your bag of Chai upside down a few times. The powdered spices can settle at the bottom of the bag during transit. Use fresh water. Place 1 heaping tsp of tea for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. While the Chai is steeping, prepare your cup to receive the Chai by putting 2 tsp of sugar in the cup and add milk (about 20% of cup volume) When the Chai is ready, pour into the cup.

Licorice Root is known to relieve coughs, sore thoughts, mucus accumulation and congestion. Soothes digestive tract and Supports adrenal function. known also to strengthen and balance the female reporductive system.AKA: "The Grandfather Herb" "Sweetwood". This licorice has a sweet character with light medicinal notes and anise-like finish. Excellent blended with Peppermint or Chamomile. Often called "The Grandfather" herb. The first recorded use of it came from the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. The Egyptians believed that in the same way that a grandfather cares for his grandchildren, licorice root eased coughs and other lung related ailments. The sweetness of this herb is due to the fact that the root contains up to 14% naturally occurring sugars. Can also blend well with your green or black teas. Licorice Root should not be used by pregnant women. overweight people with edema, and those with high blood pressure or heart disease. Using too much licorice can cause a headache. People with Breast Cancer history or diagnoses should avoid Licorice. It is a good support herb in other formulas, but is usually not the basis for a blend. Always ask your Doctor before taking any herbal blend.
